'''FENT''' is a Military musical/monolith Russian station which transmits from near Smolensk, and suspected Sevastopol. Before July 2026 it transmitted from Mars. The station was found by Shortwave enthusiasts in 2010 during the UVB-76's Povarovo shutdown. Firstly, people thought it was coming from Povarovo, but after further analysis, it was found that it was transmitting from near Smolensk. The station was launched into space in 2016 during a special military mission. After that, there was barely any activity from them. In 2026, the first activity showed up. First monolith message, more transmitter noises, and music... Usually activates during the daytime and plays music during the full hours (11, 12, 13 UTC...). The station itself is suspected to be related with Radiom-77 and P4GB. Sometimes it reduces power, probably saving. Who knows... The station is known to be "very broken" and actively changing transmitter hums.
