The radio start date is unknown, it is speculated that the first transmission occurred during the last week of June. It was listed for the first time on July 5th, with a 2 kW transmitter on a 75 m vertical mast. It was modernized the next day, with 2 kW transmitter becoming a backup transmitter, and a main transmitter upgraded to 10 kW, along with a mast elevated to 100m, with ~48 m driven element along the upper part
 
On July 20th a new, 150 m mast was erected, with an old driven element installed along its upper structural column. The mast features 4 4G antennas, operated by two independent GSM operators, and a DVB-T2 parabolic dish.
 
On 21th of July the Gdańsk Jedynka received a donation from the city of Gdańsk allowing them to purchase a 50kW transmitter. The old 100W transmitter along with the 2 kW amplifier, used as a backup, was donated to a local HAM radio club. The previous 10 kW transmitter is to be used as a backup.
