On 3rd July, the station transmitted its first message. It also started playing music on the first day. The station had many, many leaks. On 06.07.2026, new markers and callsigns were introduced, and there was a message which mentioned Sevastopol. Through the leaks, we could assume that the operators from near Smolensk were pretty much shocked to hear the sudden change. In the evening of 7th July 2026, the station broadcast from Sevastopol. From 09.07.2026 to 20.07.2026 it went quiet, but suddenly the Smolensk transmitter site came back. Looks like Sevastopol is a backup transmitter site? On the same day, a new callsign was introduced: "DDD". On 23rd July the amount of transmitter noise has been reduced. FENT is a Military musical/monolith Russian station which transmits from near Smolensk, and suspected Sevastopol. Before July 2026 it transmitted from Mars. The station was found by Shortwave enthusiasts in 2010 during the UVB-76's Povarovo shutdown. Firstly, people thought it was coming from Povarovo, but after further analysis, it was found that it was transmitting from near Smolensk. The station was launched into space in 2016 during a special military mission. After that, there was barely any activity from them. In 2026, the first activity showed up. First monolith message, more transmitter noises, and music... Usually activates during the daytime and plays music during the full hours (11, 12, 13 UTC...). The station itself is suspected to be related with Radiom-77 and P4GB. Sometimes it reduces power, probably saving. Who knows... The station is known to be "very broken" and actively changing transmitter hums.
