"The Sweep" (not to be confused with The Swoop) is a Russian military commandment network serving the Western Military District. It transmits on 6992 kHz around the clock.. The station replaced The Siren and The Swoop , all of them broadcasting from the same transmitter. The Sweep also has the same operator. The station now transmits with a high or a low pip, randomly switched for short periods of time. All messages are addressed to PX1C (RHIS)
